Answering the question of who is a psychopath is not easy. Psychopaths move freely throughout society and usually the notorious reap attention. Psychopaths can dwell in the house next door, provide professional services with public applause or stalk with little awareness on the part of their prey.

Branding a psychopath is extremely difficult. They have the ability to live within in the bounds of law and rarely submit to psychoanalysis voluntarily. However, their level of destruction is well documented if their victims were only believed. Often their victims are the ones branded as the psychopathic predator moves onto new prey.

Any quest toward discovering a psychopath is presently left up to each individual to be aware of some common behavioral cues with the only recommended response of avoidance. Because the nature of their destruction can easily remain within the bounds of the law and outside the sense of human decency, many leave a path of victims without recourse.

Behaviors resulting from their absence of empathy is presently the only detection available for individuals to attempt a determination of who is a psychopath. Intuition and a psychopath’s relationship history is a good start for a “who is a psychopath” evaluation.

Your intuition hopefully will sound a bell in your gut when behaviors do not quite align with a sense of decency. Heed these warnings. Rationalizing for the benefit of a psychopath is a common mistake. Make it and you are headed into an extremely dangerous place. If you don’t trust yourself, place trust in someone else. Then listen even if you don’t want to hear it.

Relationship history is another powerful tool because psychopaths repeat bad behavior over and over. For they know no different. No empathy monitoring for future adjustments. Multiple marriages in someone you initially view as a keeper is a very loud sounding clue. Better safe then sorry.

Who is a psychopath? Who knows. Maybe not even the psychopath.
