The issue of dealing with a psychopath should only come into play if you happen to have created one, by sperm or by egg, and they are currently a minority (under the legal age.) The rest of society should divorce themselves from any influence of all other psychopaths.

If you happen to be a parent of a psychopath child you need to seek specialized guidance on how to “deal with them” appropriately. In this case you will need the counseling. Find a counselor with an in depth understanding of how a psychopaths mind works. Do not make the assumption that just because they have a counseling license psychopathic understanding and appreciation is automatic.

Raising a child who lives in an absence of empathy takes consistent appropriate behavioral reinforcement unique to that lack thereof. Punishing inappropriate behavior resulting from desire without constraint is frustrating and doesn’t create positive outcomes. Seek help!

As to everybody else, don’t waste your precious time and energy on trying to adjust adult psychopathic behavior. Leave the dealing with psychopaths to counselors and the psychopath.

Unless of course you want to exploit them for business purposes. In this instance be sure you have a psychopathic handler on board to deal with them!
